So you live in Bucks County or neighboring New Jersey and you're wondering - "Where can I go for performing arts around here"?  Frustrated with the difficulty of answering that question and the lack of online information about performing arts groups in the region, Lynn Fergusson created Spotlight Magazine this summer.  Struck by the similarities between her site and LocalArtsLive, we decided to exchange ideas over coffee and, presto, you can now see new entries on Spotlight right on the front page of LocalArtsLive under the "Breaking News" section.  An image and link to Spotlight was also added to the right hand column on LocalArtsLive.  In turn, Lynne created a location on her front page to show updates as they appear in the Featured blogs section here.  This welcome exchange will be helpful to both sites since there is currently no overlap of information.  For those who contribute blogs that are featured, this increases the visibility and audience for your posts with no additional effort required.

What are the biggest differences between Spotlight and LocalArtsLive?  

1.  Region - LocalArtsLive covers the greater Philadelphia area, including Spotlight's Bucks County region

2.  Arts - Spotlight covers all performing arts, whereas LocalArtsLive just concentrates on classical music
