Philmore Ensemble is planning another concert for spring 2012 featuring original works by Philadelphia-based composers. Philmore Ensemble did a concert with this theme in spring 2010 and featured music by composers including, Andrea Clearfield, Allen Krantz, Jeremy Gill, and Cynthia Folio. We would love to utilize the wealth of composers this city has to offer to highlight the artistic prowess of Philadelphia. Our ensemble has a range of possibilities, and we often ask guests to join us; however, it is a guitar-based ensemble, so pieces with guitar are preferable. Pieces with piano are also welcome. Our ensemble includes:

Guitar, lute or mandolin (not together), soprano, flute (piccolo), violin or viola (not together), cello and piano

If your piece includes an instrument not listed, please contact us anyway, as we may be able to invite a guest performer.
